Tantra means “loom, warp.” In its highest sense, Tantra refers to practices that weave ordinary life experience into a state of wholeness and freedom. Tantra sees that all of this universe is a manifestation of divine energy-consciousness, and as such, nothing in life need be rejected. We can learn to connect with that energy-consciousness, which is within us as well as without, to joyfully live our full creative potential. A key to the attraction of the Tantric approach throughout the centuries is its life-embracing approach. You can seek freedom and fulfillment in divine consciousness right from where you are; you don’t have to withdraw from life, you can engage in it fully.
Of any sphere of life, none is more challenging yet more ripe with the potential for personal and spiritual growth than intimate relationships. We know this, we can sense it. Within the human heart lies a promise: Life can be incomparably richer when we share it with someone we love. Within the intimacy of a love relationship, we can experience the highest in ourselves and the highest in life. We can also open to the most significant personal growth we will experience in our lifetime. The question is, how do we rise to this challenge?
The Tantra Relationship classes and retreats offered here utilize traditional Tantric principles as well as modern approaches to allow you to connect with the divine within yourself and your partner, to use your relationship as a true, practical, and most profound spiritual path that will open your hearts, strip away the carapace that creates separation and conflict, and fulfill both of you.
